Faulty Inner Tube

I purchased two Schwalbe Marathon tyres with optional inner tubes. The tyres were of good quality. When fitting the tyre and tube I always slightly inflate the tube before inserting into tyre. The first tube inflated as it should but the 2nd tube would not inflate. On inspection I found that the tube valve was damaged and let air escape.

The tubes supplied are branded from Oxford Products UK. We supply hundreds of these tubes an suffer only very occasional failures. We are looking into offering premium tubes as an option i.e. in this case Schwalbe, however this will come at a price. We do also already supply lots of premium tubes on a different platform and they also suffer from a very occasional failure! Generally best if you have a problem to get in touch and we'll sort it out.

I haven't fitted it yet, but it looks fine, and I've used schwalbe tyres many times before with no problems. It was delivered promptly and well packed, for a good price.
