SCHWALBE MARATHON E-PLUS Smart DualGuard

Maximum driving safety at high speeds and on long tours. Highest marathon quality, further developed for the special requirements placed on an e-bike tire. Schwalbe puncture protection level 7. The patented SmartGuard insert is additionally supported by two layers of RaceGuard fabric. This "Smart DualGuard" protects even better against sharp intruders. The ADDIX-E compound designed for e-use stands for outstanding grip even at high speeds and maximum durability. Marathon E-Plus rolls surprisingly easily thanks to high-tech material use. The "anti-aging" side wall can withstand the typical overloads caused by too low air pressure much longer before it gets ugly cracks. The new carcass structure reinforces the side walls by another fabric layer and thus stabilises the tire for even more load capacity.

Excellent bomb-proof tyres

I've used Schwalbe Marathon Plus for a number of years on other bikes so was pleased to find these to put on my new Raleigh Trace after several punctures in the supplied tyres in a short time period. The Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus were pretty easy to fit after leaving them in a warm place for a few hours, and they make the bike feel like a different bike with excellent grip in wet and dry and even on wet leaves. They feel very stable under heavy braking too. Great tyres and well worth the price.
